Introduction
Understanding Grace
Grace is:
– Unmerited favor and love
– Divine guidance and support
– Strength in times of weakness
– Hope in the face of despair
– Peace that surpasses understanding
Grace is an unmerited favor. It is God’s gift that we do not deserve, and it ushers us into a place of receiving God’s forgiveness and redemption. Through God’s grace, believers receive forgiveness and are redeemed from their sins and past mistakes. Roman 3:23, “For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.”
Finding Grace in the Struggle
Life is full of struggles. From the day we are born to the day we die, we will face all types of struggles, causing us to lose hope of achieving our goals and life purpose. Finding grace when struggling in this life is an assurance of God’s love to overcome. Exodus 34:6 tells us that the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, is Slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.
Grace can transform our weaknesses into strengths and enable us to grow and develop in ways we may not have thought possible.
